Setup and launch
Three steps to a working ticket system: add the bot, run one command, sign in to the web panel. Everything else is optional.
1. Add the bot
Use the “Add the bot” button on the home page. Lolka shows a list of permissions with checkboxes, all ticked. “Administrator” covers the rest; if you untick it, keep the permissions from the table:
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Manage channels | Creating, renaming, moving and deleting ticket channels. |
| Manage roles | Access to private channels for the author and staff, roles from automations. |
| View channels, send messages | Messages in the ticket, collecting the transcript. |
| Manage messages | Updating the panel message and the ticket's control message. |
| Mention @everyone, @here and all roles | Pinging staff roles about a new ticket, even if the role can't be mentioned. |
| Bypass slow mode | The bot posts in the ticket channel without delay if slow mode is on there. |
| Manage webhooks | Staff replies from the web panel — they go out through a webhook, in the staff member's name. Without it only web replies stop working. |
| Manage members | The automation steps “kick”, “ban” and “unban the author”: on Lolka this is one permission for both kick and ban. Without it only these steps stop working. |
| Administrator | Covers everything above. You can untick it if you granted the rest. |
/debug shows which of these the bot has on your server: ❌ — the bot doesn’t work without it, ⚠️ — a single feature will break.
2. Run /ticket setup
An admin command with no options. It opens the setup wizard — four steps, visible only to you:
- •What the server is about — gaming or RP, community, shop, project. A set of request topics is picked to match. The fifth option is “I’ll set it up myself”, which gives one topic, “General”.
- •Which topics to keep — a button per topic: green is created, grey is not. Pressing toggles it.
- •How to open tickets — one “Open ticket” button, a button per topic (if there is more than one) or only the
/ticket opencommand. - •Create — nothing appears on the server until you press it.
You used /
Topics come with an emoji, a description and form questions: for example, “Report a player” asks for the offender’s nickname, what happened and evidence right away. All of it can be edited later in the web panel.
After “Create” you get:
| What is created | Where to change it later |
|---|---|
| Channel category “tickets” | Settings → Default channels → Category for tickets |
| Channel category “closed-tickets” | Settings → Default channels → Archive category |
| Channel “tickets” with a message and a button | Panels → default → Message |
| Channels “ticket-logs” and “ticket-transcripts” | Settings → Logs |
| Panel “default” | Panels → default |
| Topics (categories) | Categories |
The button in the channel works right away. Members can’t write in the “tickets” channel, only press the button, so the panel message doesn’t scroll away. What’s left is handing out staff roles: until then only admins see tickets. The bot sends an “Open panel → Staff” button: the role is created there in one click, then you give it to people in Lolka.
3. Sign in to the web panel
- •Run
/dashboard tokenin any channel of the server. Admins and staff can use it. - •Press “Open panel” in the bot's reply. The link works once and lives for 5 minutes; only you see the reply.
- •You are in your server's web panel. If the bot is on several of your servers, run the command on each — they appear in one list.

Without the web panel
All of this can be done with commands too: /staff add, /category add, /panel …, /config set. The list is in Commands. The web panel is handier for the permission matrix, embed design and form questions.
